The Smartbus upgrades begin this week in the area of Williamsons Road, Porter Street, Fitzsimons Lane in the Templestowe area.
Delays are expected and the work will go on for some time as it involves bus lanes on all the roads, the installation of traffic management lights and pedestrian lights.
It is probably best to avoid this area possibly for the next few months. Not sure how long the roadworks will take.
